Born in Funchal madeira in Portugal on February 5, 1985, Cristiano Ronaldo began his journey through life. Ronald is the youngest of four children to Maria Dolores Dos Santos and Jose Dini’s Averie. Ronald was named after Ronald Regan, of a favourite actor of his father.

CHILDHOOD

Cristiano Ronald was born in a poor family and he grew up in a largely working class neighbourhood.   Ronaldo‘s father was a gardener who often drank too much, and eventually he died from a kidney problem. Ronaldo’s mother worked as a cook and cleaning person in order to maintain financial stability.

MAJOR EVENTS

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best soccer players or footballers of 20^th century. He started his career on the September 2002, on the July 2004 he plays in euro 2004 finals. On the 7 September 2005 Ronaldo’s dad dies. On the 12 January 2009, Ronaldo was named FIFA player of the year and on the 3 July 2010 Ronaldo becomes a father with Irina Shaky.

EVENT AFFECTED HIM

Cristiano Ronaldo was limping off with a minor hamstring injury in the first half of Real Madrid’s match. While Ronaldo was sprinting he felt a twinge.

HOW IS REMEMBERED NOW

Cristiano Ronaldo is still playing soccer and he is playing for Real Madrid and Ronaldo is playing for Portugal in the world cup.
